We completely loved our stay at JJs yard and would suggest it to anyone staying in Lagos. The Location was perfect, the hostel was clean as properly as the staff/owners were very useful and friendly. This hostel was extremely different to any other hostel we have stayed in before, it was only small so it was ideal to really get to know the people you were staying with, it felt much more like a house with a group of friends. Jay and Juisney were always around at any hour to help with anything you needed, they are an awesome couple who are extremely friendly, funny and make all their travelers feel welcome and comfortable. We will definitely stay there again when we are back in Lagos.

Jay and his wife were extremely personable and welcoming. Their laid back nature was excellent for a comforting stay at the beach. They gave us plenty of wonderful suggestions for activities and eating places and even helped my sister and I plan the next leg of our journey.

As soon as you arrive at JJ&'s Yard you instantly feel welcome and relaxed. Lorena and Jay are easily the extremely best host&'s we have had on our trip so far. Taking us out on pub/club crawls whenever we wanted and providing us with all the information we needed, especially on fantastic tours and places to eat. JJ&'s is kept exceptionally clean with such an excellent space to cook all your meals. With a small store across from JJ&'s and bottle shop that provides all your daily needs at low cost prices, they couldn&'t have chosen a much better location to set up this magical Guesthouse. Best location to all the bars, beach and restaurants. I will recommend JJ&'s to every person i meet and cannot wait to return next Summer!

Super friendly owners and staff. You can literally ring a door bell at any time of the day or night and also the owners will come and help you with any problem. This place is great if you&'re travelling on your own as you are immediately introduced to loads of other travelers. The employees organise activities for the night and day and everyone is welcome to join in. Also bookings for tours are easily made through the owners.
