Everything! It is clean, safe, in a exceptional location. The employees is VERY kind and helpful. They gave us maps and useful advices for sightseeing. My train left at 8 pm as well as the check-out time is at noon, but I could left my baggage at the hostel with no problem, which was really really helpful.

I had planned to stay in Braga for one night only, but ended up staying four nights. It is a properly kept secret (too properly as the council do a bad job of promoting it). Great in some ways as not an influx of visitors but it is a hidden gem. The hostel itself is excellent - very very clean. Small but intimate, there is a living room with a balcony. Lots of DVD&'s and reading material provided, it really felt like home. The cooking area is properly equipped and I used it like I was at home. Breakfast is what one would expect, but at this cost I did not expect a nouvelle meals experience. The employees are the very best thing about this hostel - very very warm and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. They make travelers feel at home and very welcome. Info is provided immediately. I did a tour to the national park (which is properly worth it if you like adventure sports) and this was organised without hassle. In case you like cultural stuff and/or outdoor adventures, I recommend Braga and especially this hostel.

Staff is great, full of very good advices for the places nearby, don&'t be shy to ask them advices, even if it&'s about other cities around! The beds are comfortable, location is perfect, especially when you come by bus (no more than 5 mins walking) and close from the city center !
