Tamka Hostel

I spent fantastic two nights at the Tatamka hostel. The location is great and facilities and service live up to what they promise inside the descriptions. But especially the staff is very friendly and helpful. I had payment-issues ahead of my arrival and called, they were super friendly and cooperative and helped me a fantastic deal, special thanks go out to Paulina!

I got in super early at about 5am and without batting an eye, the guy at reception said that they didn&'t have any beds free for this past night I could crash on the couch. Great facilities and accommodating staff.

I really liked this hostel. It&'s massive and has lots of individuals - but it also has exceptional facilities. The staff were young, helpful and friendly and spoke perfect English. For the price, I was expecting one thing worse - so I was really surprised to see that this is a really nicely equipped, nicely run hostel. It was wonderful value for money. Nice showers with privacy and finest of all. a modern washer/dryer which is free to use. I thought this was a really nice gesture - you don&'t really feel you&'re being ripped off here. I really enjoyed my stay here and only left simply because they had a large group which had booked up all of the accessible beds.

One of the highest hostels on our 12-day trip! Maybe even the best. The cost for a bed in a dorm was really, really affordable and the cost of the buffet breakfast was only around 1, 3 euros. The breakfast was also superb - a lot better than for example one that we got in Vienna in a hostel for 5 euros! The beds were comfortable, room and bathroom were clean, staff was nice and especially very good was the breakfast. So affordable and so good.

Dorm rooms are very clean. It is one of the cheapest places to stay in Warsaw. Toilet facilities are very clean with outstanding hot showers and spacious. Beautiful cooking area area with no cost tea and coffee all day and night. Breakfast is ony a bit over one Euro and you can eat as much as you like. That&'s a deal. Free net all day. The staff is very warm and friendly and orofessional. Outstanding location inside the middle of the city center. Anytime you go to Warsaw, Tatamka hostel is the place to be. You will most certainly really like your stay there.

Although not really walkable from the Principal station. it is about a 10min bus ride. Nowe Swiat is fairly close and that&'s exactly where all of the clubs, bars are. Old Town not so far either. Room seemed fairly clean for hostel standard. Cost reasonable. Its a very good place to just crash for one night absolutely nothing a lot more absolutely nothing less. See warning below
