I found this the top hostel I&'ve stayed at in Panama, I&'ve been to 8. The cooking area is pleasant and nicely stocked. The bathroom was exceptional for a hostel. The air conditioner actually kept the room cool all night. The shopping center across the street has a Super 99, and various restaurants. It is 15 mins from the airport on a great day.

The owner is extremely warm and friendly and helpful. He gave us some tips for our stay and discount tickets for the sightseeing bus free of charge. Our room was big. The cooking area is equipped extremely well, you won&'t miss anything. Our shower was hot in the afternoon. Drinking water was provided. There is certainly a low priced marketplace just on the other side of the street and it&'s not far to the city. (walking 10-15 min, taxi cab 2$)

The spot is super cute and in a quiet, secure neighborhood. Overall a enjoyable stay especially for the price, but some drawbacks (see below).

Very friendly and helpful owner. Outstanding shared areas with lounge room and television location and outside patio. Outstanding kitchen and coffee. Opposite a marketplace so really handy if self catering.

Location was good. Directly across from a marketplace which is great for backpackers on a budget and can&'t afford gourmet foods. 10 minutes walk to Multi-Centra mall and 15 minutes walk to the city. Oswald (the owner) was extremely friendly, warm and inviting.
