The location is good. The staff are very friendly and helpful. With the low price, they do offer you great breakfast. Although the hostel is kind of old, all the places are very clean. Will come back again!

Great location--right close to Aksla Hill. Room was spacious, bed comfortable, and hostel was quiet. Bathroom and shower really clean. Staff is warm and friendly and really helpful.

I highly appreciated the receptionist who made my check-in; she spoke ideal english and was very nice and knowledgeable of the sights and restaurants in town (the other receptionist were very good too); i booked a single room but i was given a bigger room, which increased my Value for Money evaluation; Breakfast was very complete, being with accordance to the taste of the local and international traveller. I liked very much the study/leisure room, which i am sure several 5 star hotels envy.

It&'s so near to Mt. Aksla! The view from the mountain is so great! And it&'s the only hostel offering breakfast during my stay in Norway.
