Staff were extremely friendly, knowledgeable and reasonable, Pick up from Whangarei to their hostel was at no extra charge, Facilities were by far one of the very best (attention to detail such as: placement of power sockets at table level next to a table as opposed to other hostels who situate power sockets underneath a bed, umbrealla&'s in case it rains, sufficient hooks to put your clothes inside the showers, WIFI, full utensils/cutlery, and so much more), location is fantastic inside the sense it is near to the beautiful Whangerei falls and nature trails (really worth seeing), spacious communal kitchen, spacious rooms

My son loved the swings, trampoline, pool and spa pool. I enjoyed the atmosphere and variety of facilities on offer.

Proximity to Whangarei Falls, hiking. Everyone there was incredibly friendly (staff and customers). Has camper vans, dorms and privates so it was nice to have a variety of accomodations and people.

It was nice and quiet, the spa and pool were superb along with the outdoor sitting facilities too. large book exchange / library, extremely nice! each and every dorm has its own fridge and an inside sitting possibility. the employees and owners were extremely warm and friendly and helpful providing plenty of info and pick ups etc.

The employees and guests were really warm and friendly and helpful. the cabins were really cute, had a amazing feel. and there was free pick up and drop off from the bus station.
