Great receptionists, pool, spa, no cost breakfast && soup

The hostel is located in an old, sort of traditional wooden home and has a lot of character. I stayed inside the 10 bed dorm, and it had wooden bunks, a sofa, a table, so I felt it was really cozy and nice. Rooms and corridors are freshly painted, so it is an old house, but has a extremely well-kept and nice really feel about it. Cooking area is also really nice with wooden furniture, and view of the garden. Also has all of the equipement you need for cooking, also salt and pepper for free, which I often uncover a nice touch. Free soup inside the evenning was tasty enough, bread with it is very good and there was a lot for everyone. Did not try out spa or swimming pool, so can say absolutely nothing about it. Wireless was good, and also worked in my room. In general, I thought the hostel was really good, especially considering that it is one of the more cost-effective ones in Nelson. Extremely very good value for money!

Lovely dorms (ensuite was a treat! ), pretty soup for dinner and breakfast was good too, pool area and jacuzzi were greatly appreciated - in general, a exceptional location to stay! Wish we could have stayed there longer

Free stuff! no cost wifi, Free soup, Free Breaky, Free 2 min noodles. Plus a great pool, attracts a very good bunch of backpackers and long termers. Extremely casual and warm and friendly place, one of the very best hostels we stayed in in NZ.
