Sparky (the owner) is very nice and helpfull, rooms were really nice, there was a Hot Tub, . It jus is a friendly, welcoming spot which maes you really feel at home

With proper Southland NZ hospitality I thoroughly suggest a stay at Sparkys. The beds are solid and comfortable with proper matteress&'s, flannel sheets. Lots of space inside the dorm. The kitchen is well equipped. Not far to walk to the Invercargill attractions. One of the greatest places I have stayed at over the years of travelling.

Sparky was really helpful, very nice guy, can&'t do enough for you. Could have put me in the last bed of a crowded dorm but instead put me in a nice fresh dorm on my own (had been travelling a while and really needed a very good sleep) so was really grateful for this.

Sparky is a bit strange, but very nice though. He really cares for his visitors and has little rabbits and a hot tub in the garden. The rooms are nice and also the beds comfy. The cooking area is alright, but really small and also the knives are all blunt. I&'ve met nice visitors there, though.

Staying here is an experiece. Sparky put a lot of love and effort into this hostel, it resembles a museum. We loved the hot tub and his well known chocolate cake. Really comfortable beds within the dorm

The room was extremely cozy and we felt at home. Sparky was extremely friendly and helpful. We enjoyed meeting his pet rabbits. The design of the hostel was quaint and homely and we enjoyed our stay.

The host, Sparky, is amazingly friendly and you can see that all his enjoy and energy is going into his hostels. It&'s clean, it&'s save, it has setting and you&'ll really feel at home the moment you enter the living room as nicely as the great community kitchen. In case you come to Invercargill, don&'t miss out on that one!
