- breakfast from 7. 30-9 and soup and bread/ doughnuts at 6 plus polcorn meant oonly having to buy lunch as long as youre back for 6. - awful weathe when i went so all my activities were cancelled. In the eve the hostel did fird sticks, stikts and slack rope for entertainment. We then went in a stetch hummer to a bar. All free. Outstanding night.

Great location and also the no cost meals were an added bonus! Stayed in the stables which was a lovely cosy room

The employees here were lovely, so helpful and friendly. The location is also great (although Franz Josef is so tiny it would be hard not to be in the centre of town). All of the freebies are brilliant too like no cost soup and popcorn. There is certainly unlimited no cost wireless but sadly it was extremely hit and miss no matter whether it worked while we were there.

Look after the late arriving customer. Clean kitchen and very good facilities, in particular the timber burner for heating. nice location, short drive to Glacier walk track.

Free breakfast (pancakes) and free dinner (soup), nice staff.

Staff went the extra mile - No cost pancakes for breakfast and no cost soup within the afternoon. Reception often really helpful and they also laid on a no cost BBQ with games too. .
