There was not much to like about this hostel, it was badly run noise. The guy who was running the location was abit crazy, the phone rang at 2. 30 am and he decided to have a half hour conversation outside our room.

Amazingly warm welcome. I was picked up from the city center and informed of all the damage and reconstruction going on as we drove back to the hostel. The property owner helped me arrange my trip to the airport, introduced me to other guests, and instantly made me really feel right at home!

If you want a affordable place to stay in Christchurch this is almost certainly the lowest you&'ll find. The backyard is tent city and also the cooking area is fairly small, but there&'s a bit of outdoor covered space to hang out in as well. People were generally warm and friendly and helpful, pretty calm place.

Good sociable atmosphere, great for meeting people. Helpful owners who do their greatest to look right after their guests inside the face of high demand due to restricted lodging in Christchurch (due to earthquake).

Helpful and friendly owners. Offered by phone at all times! Picked me up from the airport at 230 am, and brought me to the bus stop with my bike and luggage. Extremely helpful.

Good atmosphere, extremely helpful staff. No cost wifi, tea and milk!
