Bedroom, shower room and toilet are clean. Cooking area has everything that you need to cook your meal. Location is great! It&'s walking distance to the city and small town.

All in all quite decent hostel, large and well equiped kitchen (although one stove was broken). Bring padlock for under-the-bed locker.

Clean, warm and friendly staff and a huge kitchen. Extra plus for there was lockers for everyone inside the room! It&'s situated about 5 mins walk from the Main Street - Queens Street. So not too far away.

Hot showers 24/7 and a lot of them. Well equipped kitchen with cling film! Really, really helpful and informative staff. Actually, everyone who worked there is awesome! The facilities were cleaned and nicely looked. Fast and free wireless 24/7. Not noisy, but still sociable with a lots of age groups. I was impressed by this hostel.

This YHA has an exceptional kitchen. It&'s also on the route of the SkyBus from the airport.

The yha international is a very good bet in case you want a clean and organized facility. Like most yha hostels it is run more as a hotel and therefore you are less likely to meet or interact with fellow travellers if that is certainly your aim. They have a very good cooking area and a television room for sky if that is certainly of interest. Employees were also friendly. However in my opinion it is better to stag outside the city in mt Eden or ponsonby.
