The employees at Hotel de Mallemoolen was extremely friendly, flexible and accommodating! They spoke English extremely well and were extremely helpful. The location is also great - only about a 7 minute walk to the train station. Despite the close location to a lot of bars, coffeeshops, and the Red Light District, I did not feel unsafe in my room and it wasn&'t too loud during the night time when I was trying to sleep. The rooms were a little small and there was a steep set of stairs to get to my room, but that was expected in a hostel in a 17th century building inside the centre of Amsterdam. Overall, I had a extremely positive experience at Hotel de Mallemoolen.

I appreciated the handy location extremely much. It took three/four mins to get to from central station. The room was quite adequate for my needs and quite clean. The employees were enjoyable and helpful. The breakfasts were pretty great and comprehensive enough for me to dispense with lunch whilst I was there. It was handy there being a TV inside the room too, although I didn&'t watch much TV whilst I was there.

It was in a amazing location - all you need in short walking distance e. g. Central train station, restaurants, coffee shops, red light district, attractions etc. The employees were friendly, approachable and helpful. They spoke really exceptional English. The breakfast was great!
