The location is great. in the heart of Thamel. the employees are extremely freindly and will look right after all your needs. free Wi-Fi throughout and 2 computers free for guests to use. also they have books to loan in english mostly but some franch german and spanish. the food is very good as properly as the free breakfast is exceptional ;;treking rafting, safaris air and bus tickets can all be arranged. 10 out ofr 10. its my 4th time here and would certainly suggest it.

The most crucial items for me to consider a guest house in nepal are wireless connection and hot water. Kathmandu Madhuban Guest House has wireless in every single rooms (i stayed in different rooms simply because i come back and changed in between double and single rooms). hot water for shower in nepal is depends on the weather simply because they used solar energy for hot water. the days i stayed were great enough. one a lot more thing i like is that the guest house has a mood of old age. i feel like i back to 70s or 80s with tidy and clean atmosphere.

Tucked away on one of Thamel&'s busiest roads, Madhuban Guest House is an oasis amidst the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu. There&'s a beautiful rooftop (where they&'ll gladly serve you breakfast if you ask), warm and friendly and helpful staff, and rooms are basic but spacious.

Good location - Central to Thamel but just from the primary crowds and bustle on a street where you see more locals than tourists. Also there is free net in the reception and excellent free Wireless throughout the hotel.
