Khem and employees are very friendly and welcoming, breakfasts are amazing! Relaxing garden and beautiful rooftop views. We are in Pokhara just now but will be returning to Hotel Elbrus when we get back to Kathmandu.

We&'ve been travelling for over 5 months and have never stayed at a hostel with nicer staff. The individuals who work here are so nice. Breakfast is included and there is a balcony in each floor which we thought was really nice.

Kathmandu was my first stop on my globe travels and also the employees at Elbrus helped me to settle in wonderfully. Khem, the host, is particularly great, helping you with whatever you might need. He even took me out to buy the Nepali mobile that I needed, helping me find a reputable store. Breakfast is very good and service is always with a smile. My room was clean, spacious and comfy. Exceptional surprise to have hot water morning or night. I will be going back in a month after visiting other areas. Defo recommend!

It&'s pretty much like a safe haven from sightseeing around hectic Kathmandu. There&'s a large garden to relax at and several balcony chilling areas as well. The employees can organize pretty much any trip you would want in Nepal: rafting, bungee jumping, trekking, reserving buses to the next town, etc. Service is great, along with the breakfast is one of the highest I&'ve had in any hostel so far. Extremely recommended!

The location is good, really close to everthing in Thamel. It was noiseless in the morning. Compared to standards in Thamel it seems to be average concerning cleanness and facilities. The internet is really fast and worked even through a power cut.

I usually do not leave reviews for hostels, but this location is awesome. Coming from China, there was a peaceful atmosphere, warm and friendly staff, and an awesome breakfast. I&'m planning on going back to Nepal inside the next 1-2 years and I will be staying at Elbrus.

Very warm and friendly hostle owner. A great begin of a journey through Kathmandu! Delicious breakfast along with the rooms are in ideal condition. We thourougly enjoyed our stay and we&'ll shourly come back at the end of our journey through Nepal.
