The hostel is behind the cathedrale, near to the middle of the city. You have a very nice view over Zacatecas from the roof of the hostel.

We stayed inside the annex and not inside the principal building. The room was small but silent as not on the street. Warm water inside the shower. Beds were comfortable. Extremely close to the principal tourist attractions. Considerate staff.

The location was excellent and also the deck on the fourth floor was the best location for a beer inside the city despite all of the great bars

Hostel Villa Colonial is a great spot to stay whilst visiting Zacatecas, the location can&'t be beat and also the individuals who work there are super nice and helpful.

Good location, warm and friendly helpful staff. We booked a private double room and were given a room in a separate building accross the road, which suited us as it was quiet.

The extremely best hostel I have stayed in so far! The staff were amazingly friendly, and went out of their way to make sure everyone had a great time! Make sure you go for the Thursday night party - a wonderful way to meet other backpackers and locals!

Brilliant location behind the cathedral. Stunning roof terrace overlooking cathedral. Use of 2 kitchens. Extensive book exchange. Loved the welcome tequilas. :-)
