A relaxing and lovely location exactly where you can relax. You can use the Kajaks to explore the little Cenote in the back, swim in the sea and appreciate the beach or get to town easily to party or plan trips.

The volunteer staff were excellent extremely friendly, namely Jeff (Jean Francois) who was a joy. It&'s a excellent location in case you want beach, cenote and reservation. Otherwise it&'s difficult getting into town, in case you don&'t need to pay 120pesos then hitchhiking is the transport of choice.

If you are interested in seriously budget accomodations, Xbalamque is totally perfect. Beach access is super close, the cenote inside the back is 50 meters from the cabanas, and there is certainly wifi (when the power gets turned on inside the evening). The cabanas all have locks for security, along with the manager was really helpful and kind. Proximity to Sian Ka&'an a huge plus. You CAN get to Xbalamque via collectivo from Tulum, but we found it much more handy to rent a car.

Its pretty rustic but i really liked it. paty the owner was extremely friendly and helpfull. the beach is 50m away and they have there own cenote out the back. free bikes, kayaks and snorkiling gear. outstanding mosquito net
