It&'s hard to uncover anything to like about this property, but at least the rooms were reasonably clean and it was fairly noiseless (because it wasn&'t near the centre of town)

Screens on windows. Breakfast was free of charge. Warm and friendly and helpful host. Convenience store across the road and nearby. About 20 mins walk from a mall which has restaurants outside and food court inside.

The privacy and safety were a big plus. We only traveled through Chetumal for a night to get to Guatemala so weren't looking for much.
