While Mauritius is not a backpacker destination, Le Capitaine was the top backpacker post. A short, straightforward bus ride to Port Louis and a three-minute walk from the ocean, the location is pretty prime. The rooms are spacious, with private bathrooms, and also the kitchen is really handy for storing food or cooking meals.
