Great owners who help to generate a amazing Homly setting and are willing to help with anything. Gorgeous cosy beds. The owners also bring in a local breakfast every day as well. A fridge for your use helps as well.

Great place, very clean and super helpful staff. Its well located to see all of Penang, being outside of the 'Historical Core' means you can see the touristy part as well as getting a feel for the real Penang. There's loads of restaurants, shops and bars near by and a sea front promenade about 15 minutes walk away. The hostel is about 20 minutes walk from the main bus station for a few stops on the bus. Well worth staying here as there's so much to see from local temples to the whole historical centre and beaches!

The room was lovely, the place is perfectly located, and the breakfast are so yummy. The staff are friendly and they have fantastic tips for exactly where to eat. Highly suggested is the Gurney Drive Hawker Centre. Would come back here again for sure!

All the staff were so friendly and helpful! We really enjoyed our time with them. The breakfasts were all good and different each day. Love the variety and trying local eats. The room was very clean and was as described. Bathrooms were clean most of the time depending if someone just showered and people walked in with shoes afterwards. I did like how staff took off their shoes upstairs, but since I know prob most travelers don't, I didn't either. Liked how it was in between Georgetown and gurney dr/ national park. Easy bus access to everything. Liked how you can book a bus to KL from reception and they even pick you up to go to bus station.
