Central location. Quite clean. Basic but nice breakfast included, even though ants were crawling on tables and jam/butter. Friendly and helpful staff. A bit overpriced for what it offers, considering it is a hotel. Some guest houses have higher standards.

The Rama Hotel is two blocks and 10 minutes from the main tourist stretch, but a little walk never harmed anyone. Not the newest or grandest, but rooms are quiet, with Wi-fi access, cable TV, air-conditioning, hot showers and a decent breakfast thrown in for about US$30 a night. Not a bad deal.

Big room, massive bed. Shower pressure not too good. I had a nice stay overall, although I think you can discover greater selections for that price.
