Actually there is certainly a lot to like about this place. Unfortunately there&'s just one aspect - the awful smell inside the room - that for me overshadows all of the positive aspects so much that sadly I don&'t feel I can suggest Juyoh Hotel. Having said that I did like: - Staff. Extremely friendly and kind, I felt immediately welcome. Spoke very good English. Read in some other reviews that younger staff members were rude, but don&'t recognize that at all; all staff members I encountered were without exception really very kind and helpful. - Concept of the place: Budget place but with small tatami rooms with comfortable futons to sleep on. Even a fridge inside the room. - Value for money: 2800 per night for a private room is definitely not bad in Tokyo. - Acceptable location. Yes, there are some guys erring on the streets that are possibly homeless and/or drunk. But there also just several normal Japanese around in what seems a pleasant enough (though &"lower class&") suburb. Not depressing at all in my opinion. Have to say that I haven&'t been on the street soon after 10 pm so maybe late during the night environment changes.

I loved having my own space instead of sleeping in a room with 4-20 strangers in a cramped room. Also, the cost of a single room was only slightly more or the same amount as other hostels I&'ve been to in Tokyo. Everything was really clean, the futon was comfortable, the employees were really nice, and also the room was quite adequate. I didn&'t have time to check out the private bath, but it sounded nice. As a light sleeper, I was so happy to have a clean, silent space to get a very good nights rest! I would definitely stay there again.

Not so faraway from subway and buses, located in a sympathic component of Beijing. Employees speak little english but are nice. I went back at 2-3h within the morning 3 times in a row and could get in within a few seconds without feeling guilty :)

Very traditional Japannese bed (extremely comfortable! ) with Japannese gown and slippers -made it just so much a lot more an expertise to be in Japan! And just 1 minute away from a convenience store and extremely near to metro going to Narita airport! What could you ask for more
