The bed in my room was enormous and comfortable. There were bikes accessible for rental along with the hostel hosted tours within the area.

Very friendly staff, huge kitchen, low-cost LAUNDRY and deluxe bunks. J-hoppers is Four Seasons of Hostels inside the world. I wish all hostels were like J-hoppers hostels!

Good price (relative to Japan, which is expensive anyway), very nice environment and clean and modern day facilities. Light, spacious private rooms in Japanese style. Lots of info on local sights. Very good internet speed and wifi. Spacious and clean kitchen and bathrooms.

Staff really warm and friendly and helpful. Really clean. Wonderful spacious beds in dorm room with own curtains for privacy. We had a curry dinner one evening which was organised by the hostel employees - was a wonderful way to meet other travellers. Will definitely recommend this hostel to others.

Very clean, well equiped and very good location 5 mins from the station and the historical component of Takayama. The staff were helpful and there were lots of useful advice and suggestions of points to do. I especialliy liked the futon style bunk beds which gave you lots of space and privacy.

Excellent staff, extremely kind and helpfull! Only a 7min walk from JR Takayama station. Really clean bathrooms and toilets. Good cozy beds with nice sheets! Don&'t search any further, BOOK!
