Location was outstanding - five mins from main train station, easy to find, a tram stop outside, multiple restaurants and department stores nearby and very near to a Gunkanjima tour office. Employees were friendly, rooms were clean, Wi-Fi works in rooms, no cost breakfast! They also give you a discount card to use in most of Nagasaki&'s main landmarks (e. g. Ropeway ticket is reduced from &xa5;1200 to &xa5;600)

Casa Noda sets the benchmark for all other hostels in Japan. When I come to Nagasaki, there is no question about where to stay. Superb atmosphere, continually improving decoration and facilities, the friendliest and most helpful staff around AND they throw in a free breakfast You&'d be a fool to pass this spot up.

I liked how nice and small it was, and the relaxed atmosphere. I also liked how they used foldable futon beds on the bunk beds, because it allowed me to fold it up during the day and use that space if I wanted to. All in all, my stay there was really comfortable.

I completely loved my stay at Casa Noda! Extremely helpful owner who sits down and points out all the points of interest on a map. Location is also excellent as it&'s extremely close to the tram stop (which is all you need for travel around Nagasaki), and a close 10 to 15min walk to both the harbour and Nagasaki station.

First class hostel, excellent location to explore the city a few minutes walk from bus and train terminals. Shinji is the excellent host, warm and friendly and welcoming. This has to be your first choice if your visiting Nagasaki!
