It was fine. Employees were friendly, location was clean, beds were comfortable with curtains && individual lights which was good.

The Inn is close to a subway stop on the major Kyoto line so transport was really easy, the futons were comfortable and also the rooms well insulated from the cold! Nice places to eat within 5 mins walk.

W hat did I like about this property It was three blocks from the train station. It was clean and the room had a fridge. However, there were many rules and regs. The mattress was very hard (it was a ryokan so you sleep on the floor). I've been to one before that was quite comfortable Pretty basic but for all you are in it, it was fine.
