The beds were so comfortable. The employees was thoughtful and helpful, and they provided numerous tips and resources for travellers who were new to the area. The lounge was spacious and comfortable, and also the kitchen was always kept clean. Detergent was free! The hostel was in a fantastic portion of town - at night, you could walk just a few blocks away and see Geisha in the Gion district. Overall, the most effective hostel I&'ve ever been to.

Location! Really near to subway and railway(Hankyu line) Curtains for privacy, massive kitchen and lounge! A lot of free Web PCs! Warm and friendly staff!

The rooms were quite nice and although I stayed in a 10 bed dorm, each bed had a curtain to draw across so you nonetheless felt you had some privacy. The hostel employees were quite helpful.

Extremely tidy and clean. loads of showers/toilets so no waiting. Great air con/heaters. Huge common area to relax in and meet people. Nicely equipped cooking area and lots of stores for buying inexpensive ingredients nearby. Really near to the Hankyu train kyoto stop. Great hostel for backpackers, really great setup.

Great hostel that was really cheap. Effortless to get go via bus, as long as you know where you&'re going (shijo kawaramachi). Outstanding atmosphere to meet people. No cost tea too to appreciate during a cold night.

Such a fun, artsy and clean hostel! The employees were also really friendly and helpful; maps with tourist attraction, directions, local recommendations, bus passes, etc. The hostel is near Shinkyogoku shopping street which has lots of places to eat and shop when you need to relax from traveling and just want to stay in the locale. Thank you! !

I really like this hostel, and often stay here whenever in Kyoto. Its extremely convenient and clean, the staff are friendly and also the location is excellent. Low-cost prices too. Recommended.

I have stayed for six days. I like the location. It is really near a hankyu station and some spots such as Gion. The staff are very helpful and friendly. I really appreciate my stay.
