The employees was really helpful and friendly. Easy to talk to. The community room was always busy with travelers to talk to and share experiences with. The cooking area was kept clean and lots of space to store dry and refrigerated goods.

Close to the station, cafe on site, large common room, washing machines, comfortable bed

The employees were friendly and helpful and offered a very quick service. The hostel was clean with lots of useful info and maps etc. There was a television room and good wifi. The luggage room is secure. It was in very near to Kyoto station, the Shijo sho[[ing district, the Gion geisha district, the National Museum and more.

The staff were incredibly helpful. Two friends asked if it was possible to ship their snowboard bags to Tokyo. The staff contacted the shipping company, filled in the forms for them, paid, and sent the bags off. All that was left was for my friends to pay them - genuinely exemplary service. Also of note: -best showers I&'ve seen at any hostel -large lockers under each bed -cheap bicycle hire -large common room area

Great hostel - cooking area is huge and kept spotless! Common room and rooftop region are great too. Rooms were spotless. The drinks inside the bar attached to the hostel were really reasonably priced. Great suggestions for cheap eats inside the region with the little map they give you. Really secure and safe hostel - finest one we stayed in while in Japan.

Very helpful, friendly and happy staff. Nice lounge region for hanging out. Everything else you need for a traveler like postcards and even a shoe dryer! Good bar as well. Not numerous rules!
