This spot is a gem in terms of value. It is a five star facility at budget prices. I have stayed in hostels in far more than 35 countries and this one rates right at the top. It is done in easy Japanese style with a Japanese bath to sooth those travel aches and pains. The breakfast was awesome and inexpensive. There is certainly tea and coffee 24 hours a day. It is within walking distance of the train station and near the warehouse district where there are a lot of stores and places to eat. I can not say enough about this place.

The hostess is a extremely nice lady, who bakes bread during the night for breakfast the next morning ") It goes without saying that Hakodatemura serves extremely excellent breakfast. The hostel is extremely nicely maintained, as properly as the location is great for sight-seeing in Hakodate. With such warm hospitality, my 3D 2N stay in Hakodate was hence made extremely pleasing and heart-warming right from the beginning.
