Location was great, subway a block away, and on the bus route. Lots of character inside the hostel, as properly as the employees was very friendly and spoke enough English to make items easier for foreign travellers. Lots to see and do within walking distance. Lots of charm, loved the garden as properly as the sea foam green retro phone for my wake-up call!

This place was amazing. It was blocks from tons of nightlife, yet felt like you were miles away once you stepped trough the doors. There were little female and male onsens inside the guesthouse and and a private garden that some of the rooms looked onto. And our room was absolutely beautiful. I really liked how we were given yukatas to wear around the facility as well.

That it was traditional, but it felt like it needed some sprucing up, it felt a little flat. The women were nice and hospitable, but the guy was a less welcoming.

The helpful lady at the front desk was amazing! its not often they would have to deal with some one trying to discover lots of obscure house addresses for architecture! extremely helpful! the girl from Kagoshima was wonderful as nicely :)
