This hostel is quite atypical. It is much more a family home and you get a key for the front door so you can enter whenever you want to. The stuff is incredible kind and warmhearted which amplifies the familar feeling. I stayed there simply because I made a roadtrip through Sicily and we liked it so much in Taormina that we asked spontaneously if we could stay one much more night. It was no problem and we got a special cost for that night. The rooms are maybe not the most contemporary rooms but the home has a rooftop on the roof with a view on the Etna as properly as the hostel is extremely central for reach everything in Taormina by foot. All in all we could suggest this hostel to everyone who lookes for a nice and handy spot to stay.

The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful, even they dont speak English. The location is ok, close to the principal street of Taormina, even it is quite hard to uncover it on arrival.

Perfectly situated with really simple rooms. Rooms have nice balconies and there is certainly a roof terasse with a great view on mount etna. The owners are really friendly but do hardly speak any english. The breakfast is really italian - cappuchino and some crackers with jam.

We had to arrive (by car) very late at night, so we called at Casa Rupilio and warned them, that we will be late. It was a bit hard to locate the place at night, but soon after 5 minutes walking through the norrow streets we saw the established door and a message on the wall saying: &"Dear guest, we went to sleep. Pleas climb the stairs, the established door is your room. &" I love those iralians! :) Also, there was a best view to mount Etna from the window. it was not so hard to locate a no cost parking place for the car.

The employees is very gentle. The room was big. The breakfast was very great with food made by the staff. They also gave us a basket of food when we left, to eat for the road. Very good location at 5 min walk from the principal street of the center city corso umberto. Very good prices for the facilities. The employees leaves inside the same building often disponible for us.
