We were on the top floor with great scenery from the bedroom over the bay and a balcony exactly where you could sit out and enjoy similar views. . It was almost an apartment without a cooker being fitted. and there were no tea making facilities There were lovely pictures on the wall and nice ceramics dotted about though the floor tiles discolored in some places due to recent building work. Breakfast was by voucher for drink and pastry at two local cafes which we enjoyed as it gave a nice Siclian touch to our stay. Sabastian was really welcoming and gave us a run through of local sights and places to eat and we were in easy waling distance of all the amazing sights in Ortygia. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. John and Patricia

Estuvimos una noche en agosto de 2013. Lo mejor es la ubicaci&on: en la propia isla de Ortigia, a 10 minutos andando de la piazza del Duomo. El Employees es atento y simp&atico. La habitaci&on est&a limpia y es muy amplia, pero NO tiene aire acondicionado, en agosto es un gran problema. El desayuno es aceptable. Dif&icil aparcar por la zona.

Beautiful old Italian building, felt like living in someone&'s home. Spacious rooms, large shower, common room and use of fridge. Fantastic sea view, shutters on windows, comfy bed, what more could you ask for The owner, Sebastiano, was so welcoming, warm and friendly and full of superb info and recommendations.
