Very quiet but still convenience. Super staff, really helpful.

Decent room, pleasant, a lot of hot water, nice view out onto the street. Character, but old. Air-con works fine. TV etc. No mini-bar though, and only a shower inside the en suite. Although there is certainly a bidet at the same time as toilet. Hosts spoke basic English but not fluent -- so would struggle with complicated questions. Fairly pricey when you consider it is a basic 3-star hotel -- &xa3;100/night web deal bought back in March. That price was for the Palio days (inflated festival price) but it would nonetheless be expensive at &xa3;50 or &xa3;60pn, I feel. Quick walk under 10min to Piazza del Campo, and surrounded by all the setting of the old town. I would return.
