Large rooms, adequate kitchen, superb location to train station and old city, wireless fine, breakfast worth 50% of cost. Alfredo has superb English. Bad points are downstairs rooms cop a lot of foot noises from upstairs rooms, no staff are onsite during the night. Overall we thought this was pretty superb value and would recommend.

The rooms are in an appartment closed to the entry of the historical city center. The appartment is not great to uncover but with navigation it will work. We came soon after the official check-in-time and we called the owner. He came some minutes later and everything was great :-) The room we had was pretty arranged. It was clean, we had towels, the shower was modern day and clean. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast was included and very nice. Alfredo and his mother were frying eggs, there was a large selection and it was very good. Honestly, me and my girlfriend stayed there for one night and we could suggest it in every way. Stay there maybe for two nights, visit the city.

The location was good. It was directly outside the old city wall and very close to the train station (we took the escalator from the train station to the top of the city). The building is a classic Italian Villa along with the apartment has nice, old, Siennese character -- it was beautiful, along with the view was breathtaking. The room and bathroom were decently clean, though there were mosquitos and various bugs.

Totally wonderful family running a nice hostel. Just notice the small print of newest check-in time and respect it :) Here we got the best breakfast ever. Highly recommended.

Most affordable place in Siena, even as a single room! Huge room with a great view. Extremely welcoming staff, free coffee/tea and massive breakfast! Only stayed one night so I didn&'t interact with them much though. I stayed inside the apartment on the first floor so I was not woken at all by the ladies making breakfast upstairs. Took the bus from Florence to get there and it was an effortless 10-15 minute walk from the terminal.

The room was really spacious, really comfortable bed/linens, and had nice features, and a great view of the countryside. It is also just 10 minutes from the middle of Siena by foot.

Wonderful family run business! The staff were super friendly, especially Vittorio who could not have been more enthusiastic. the room was clean, tidy and cozy with a fuctional little kitchen. The highlight was definitely the breakfast made by specially by the Grandmother of the family.
