The location is absolutely wonderful. I would absolutely stay in Pompei rather than Napoli for visiting the Bay of Naples. The centre of modern day Pompei is small and you can walk from one side (the ruins) to the other (this hostel) in 5 minutes. It is also situated in between the two train stations (one is Circumvesuviana, one is Trenitalia --- look it up) and less than five minutes walk to either. Restaurants around are not nearly as expensive as we were expecting with such proximity to the ruins. The hostel is very functional. No cost wifi, great airconditioning, nice courtyard with sunloungers and outdoor tables, two desktop PCs available for anybody to use (although they are the slowest points known to man, use the wifi instead), a bar (1l Peroni for 3euro), all as you&'d expect. We were also able to check in as early as 7:30am, which was useful, but I&'d ring ahead (or get a friend who speaks Italian to ring ahead) if which is the case.

It&'s easy to find and has a nice atmosphere. The beds and bath rooms are clean, the wireless works well, they offer nice food and are attentive once you&'re there, but also give you privacy if you want it.

This is a pretty household run business. As Pompei is a noiseless town the hostel is very superb for socializing with other traveller. This makes the environment warm and friendly and social. The owners are very hard working and do well to accommodate many travellers with there limited English. Simple walk to the Ruins of Pompei. And 20 min walk to access the train to Sorrento(30mins).

Big courtyard and outstanding location. Free roadside parking in front of the hotel with the help of the hotel staff.

Great value. The owners are so pretty and friendly. Delicious home cooked meals and right in the centre of Pompei, only a 5 minute walk to the Ruins and town tourist info centre.
