I recommand everyone to stay in Hotel Alpino. The Owners are extremely nice and helpfull. Their Restaurant is perfect. , food and waiters as well. Hotel is 50 m. from the lake, but I had a mountain view. Fantastic!

Centrally located in Malcesine, 5 mins. walk from the bus stop, clean safe rooms, friendly staff and the restaurant offers 10% discount to hotel guests plus an Amoretti liquor on the house. There was a varied breakfast which we enjoyed. Our only complaint was that on 2 of our 3 night stay there was loud music from a nearby bar although this wasn't actually to do with Hotel Alpina. We would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel to others.

The environment was outstanding and also the employees are extemely helpful and friendly. Only down side was the church bells go off about 50 times at about 8am each day!
