The location is really good in terms of the view as it is onlooking Lake Como. It is set back slightly up the hill so you can sit and look out onto the lake in all its beauty.

The dinner (offered at a discounted rate for hostel guests) is great and fairly cheap. Cheapest location I could uncover on Lake Como, and extremely easy to get to Bellagio/Varenna by ferry. My room had a balcony with a nice view of the lake. Public internet is helpful if you don&'t have a wireless device (you have to pay to use it though)

The staff were incredibly warm and friendly and helpful. I felt everyone tried hard to make every guest&'s stay a positive experience. It was a location with real soul. There was also outstanding information on walks inside the area. And, of course, there were the absolutely fabulous scenery of Lake Como from the bed rooms and common room.

I had an excellent time at this hostel, the employees and owners went out of their way to help us and also the food from the kitchen is amazing. Its really effortless to make pals and also the location is amazing! The rooms are nice and there is certainly lots of space to chill out if you really feel like, Enjoy this spot and I will definitely be going back one day!

It was in a very good place for discovering Bellagio etc by ferryboat and close to many walks obtainable from Menagio. The employees were wonderful and lovely and so helpful. Lockers are obtainable but bring your own lock. The attached restaurant /bar was delicious and properly priced and nice that they get everyone together eating at the same time (and you get a no cost wine if you pre-book your dinner)

The location right next to Lake Como is great. It&'s the only budget lodging inside the area. They have a restaurant that serves great food for fairly inexpensive and they also have pack lunches available. (One pack lunch is huge enough for two people. ) Breakfast is included.
