It was right in the heart of Florence, which my friend and I loved. Super easy to see all of the main points of interest on foot. It was also finest described as interestingly &"quirky&". We had a lot of bizarre roommates, I got locked inside the bathroom one morning, and the staff leader Justin was constantly wandering into our room as if he wasn&'t quite sure what was going on in the hostel. Let&'s just say it made for some fantastic anecdotes and memories.

Check-in time is not 11 am. It is about 12 noon. i. e. whenever the caretaker comes in for work. Sometimes she comes in at around 1. 30 pm. Since the caretaker does not stay in the hostel, you need to spend money on an international call to call the owner, whenever you have any query. Extremely basic cleanliness. There is a pub downstairs, and hence it is very noisy till about 2-3 am.

This place smelled a bit. There was no hot water for the showers. There was no heat. I think the bed was gross. I left with so many mosquito bites on my neck, hand and arm. I didn't like this place at all.
