This hotel is a lovely little 2 star hotel which is very close to the city centre. There is plenty of shops, places to eat and easy access to bus routes from this property. The hotel is very close to the airport and can be reached by bus at a very low-cost cost or by taxi cab for a reasonable amount in about 8 minutes. The staff at the hotel were fantastic and were often on hand to help with any inquiries we had, albeit communication was a little strained at times due to our poor Italian. The Staff were able to communicate with us effectively and could help with any issues or booking taxis. Our travel adapter would not work inside the room, but again the staff were able to present one free of charge for us to use.

We arrived in Bologna way earlier than we expected and were left stranded in the city at 3am. Even though our reservation wasn&'t for later that day, we went to our hostel due to the fact that&'s the only spot we knew where to go. The gate was closed so we rang the doorbell and explained our situation to the receptionist, asking if there was a spare bed we could pay for since we already had a reservation for later that night. He refused us in a very rude way and told us we could come back at 6 am. We asked if we could come in to use the wireless or telephone to find a new spot to stay and he said no. I couldn&'t believe that we, paying customers, were being stiffed by our own hostel! All we wanted was to come in and ask help to find a new place. He was very rude and stopped responding to our questions. Finally we resorted to wandering around the city at 3am trying to find a place, and ended up shelling out 80 euros to stay at a Best Western all due to the fact the receptionist wouldn&'t even let us use a map or telephone.

Location was good, couple stops on the bus or 15 minute walk from the central train station. The room was extremely clean and spacious, had a little balcony. We didn&'t realise breakfast was included inside the room price, as it wasn&'t specified on the website when booking the room and no one told us inside the reception. Location was OK compared, no worse than the rest of Bologna.

Great property a very nice hotel with superb clean facilities. Great value for money. We had the best meal of our Italy trip near here away from the principal traveller spots. We didn&'t mind the distance from town, only a short bus ride or you could walk or cycle. Good wifi.

If you&'re looking for a cheap alternative to a hostel, and some peace and quite, this hotel is perfect. The staff were extremely helpful, letting us check in early, and they gave us lots of region info and recommendations. The walk into town isn&'t too long, but the bus is especially handy when it&'s too hot. Clean rooms and aircon was a godsend. Exceptional value for two individuals sharing.
