The breakfast is, as mentioned before, outstanding for the price. Also the rooms, even though run down, are great value for the money. keep in mind that the price is extremly cheap, we paid the same at swedish hostel and ended up in a hole without windows and didnt have a private bathroom or breakfast, while we had all that plus balcony and an outstanding view at alcazar.

This is a modest, older hotel located in the Arab sector of Jerusalem, and is a brief walk to the Old City. It is not fancy, but is clean and well-cared for, and it is run by very good people, who are friendly and hospitable and very helpful. Our rooms were cozy and we slept well. They easily arranged some day-trips for us that were worthwhile and most reasonable. Our hosts provided a fantastic breakfast, and in the evenings soon after a long day there was always very good tea and coffee in a very cozy lounge. The neighborhood is silent and safe, as we often walked at night, and the location near Old Jerusalem is ideal. Altogether, a very very good value for the money. My wife and I will stay here again. Recommended!

The employees is so friendly, also as everyone inside the neighborhood. On a couple occassions I got lost and individuals actually walked me back to the hotel. Also, the spot is extremely clean.

Overall it was a pretty clean place, the sheets and bathroom were clean. The employees was extremely friendly and nice. Best part was the breakfast, which was pretty elaborate for a hostel. Book the private rooms and it feels like a hotel. They even booked a shuttle for us to get to the border.

Excellent value for money. Hotel is really clean, staff are really friendly, a wonderful breakfast is served each day and there is certainly parking space on the road in front of the hotel.
