In a great location, straightforward to travel around Dublin, everything inside walking distance.

Vast majority of personel was extremely friendly and helpfull. And honest regarding texi fairs, etc. A cosy breakfast room with properly prepared bacon (! ) and eggs.

The location was ok. But on the same street, there were 5 other hostels. They were all cheaper, and had far better facilities than avondale.

The staff was very helpful and kind. The location is perfect, it is just meter away from O&Connell Street, the main street in Dublin. What I liked the most was the breakfast, it is a complete breakfast with eggs, bacon, sausage, beans, cereal, coffee, milk and orange juice, the very best breakfast I ever had in a hostel in my life. Also the rooms were very warm and clean.

It&'s pretty cheap, cheerful and absurdly near to the centre of Dublin without being in Temple Bar, which is rather noisy.

It's vicinity to the city centre. The friendly breakfast and reception staff. The fact that we had our own room. Clean sheets and towels. Breakfast was free of charge.
