Jati 3 is set in the centre of Ubud. Once known as a cultural and arts center, the scene is definitely shifting to a traveler destination. Jati is right in the middle of this city, just off one of the primary streets in Ubud, yet set back far enough to escape the hustle bustle on the street and into rural Bali. It is quiet in this homestay with beautiful views. Our room had a rooftop peering into a lush forest, the pool over looks the green rice fields, along with the primary courtyard is furnished beautiful as a traditional Balinese home. We had a great time there that when we went back to Ubud 3 weeks later we tried staying here again but was booked. Luckily, we found the related Jati Homestay on Hanoman street which was super nice as well. A bit far more low key, but staff was wonderful there and was nice to switch up location a bit.

Jati 3 is in a perfect location if you want to pay a visit to Monkey Forest just down the road. There are also plenty of places to eat, check out shops, get a massage and walk to surrounding places. It is within walking distance to Ubud market, Jalan Kajeng, Hanoman st, Dewi Sita and Gotama St. We stayed in a non ac household garden view room, we locate it was fine with just the fan on. There is plenty of curtain and balcony rail to drape your washing over to assist inside the drying process. The kids loved the pool. Nice private view from verandah. Opposite Nani Mart for low-cost water and Cornettos.

Amazing bungalows. Make sure you for a garden view room, they look out over a small river and lush greenery. Environment here was incredible. Very beautifully kept bungalows with all the trimmings. Would definitely stay here again, however they are a bit on the expensive side.

Location was down a short alley, off the primary street, so really quiet. Everything else is as you would expect, clean and tidy, and really very good value for money.

I had a comfy and relaxing stay here. It&'s discreet and noiseless and set on the edge of forest. It&'s a few mins walk from monkey Forest and right inside the restaurant zone. The bath and shower had good warm water and also the place was clean. Being on the edge of the forest you get a few harmless bugs passing by but I didn&'t mind that at all. Breakfast is light but adequate.

We had a standard room but this was large with a/c and a fan, a large balcony overlooking the pool and a decent enough en suite. Lovely setting in lush gardens with a conventional Balinese feel thanks to the small temple and other Hindu statues. Breafkast was included and ran until 11am with lots of choice. Hostel arranged airport pick-up for us (RP250, 000). Free use of umbrellas. Wifi.

I am a young professional female and I stayed in the place for one night only. Traveled with my family and my boyfriend and our age range is 17 - 70. The place is quite gorgeous and quirky. I booked a family bungalow and a single room and upon arrival I was informed that the single room is not obtainable so they gave us 2 bungalows instead. We are obviously happy with that. The pool region is furnished beautifully and even the whole complex is a quirky place with a distinct Balinese feel. The place was quite safe and we actually did leave one or two doors unlocked during the night without anything being lost. I personally did not use the bathing/shower fascility so cannot comment on it. The place is also quite tranquil with lots of natural effects (sounds of crickets, frogs etc)

The property was quite secure and we actually did leave one or two doors unlocked during the night without anything being lost.
