The household are lovely and will go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable. The breakfasts each morning were fantastic, and Mrs Kuruvilla offered cooking classes at the same time as to do our laundry. Mrs Kuruvilla even made us lunch when strikes had forced the local stores shut, and invited us to join in their Christmas dinner at their beach house! Would definitely suggest this place in case you are not concerned about staying inside the traveller part of town. (They also have a beach home exactly where they rent rooms to travellers and it is lovely too! )

Nice place and family. but if you want to visit fort cochin (and it's only nice there, ernakulam is ugly), you need to take the bus and the ferryboat always.

From the moment I walked in I was made to feel like one of the family. They went out of their way to help me in each way probable and to make my stay as comfortable as possible. I was treated as a very good friend, not as a customer. Really extremely recommended.

The hostel is different to any other in India. Its three rooms all with a common area, almost like an appartment. Theres a living room, kitchen, dining area and study with free internet 24 hrs a day. Its not really in a touristy area but the family who own it are more than happy to give any info you might need. They reserved our backwater trip for us and the breakfast is brilliant. Also the Chai is the best i have had in India! The family are so nice and friendly, with the cutest little boy!

The staff are friendly and extremely helpful and with two beautiful locations (one of which is a beach house! ) this bed and breakfast is a must! Definitely one of my favourite places ever.
