We loved Kex hostel! Clean rooms, lots of bathroom/shower options. Outstanding food &&& bar downstairs. Really welcoming atmosphere and we really enjoyed our stay here! We were able to walk to a local pastry shop and get around on public bus system right from Kex hostel.

Great atmosphere, they have a really cool bar and cooking area with jazz nights on Tuesday that draws in a large local crowd. Lot&'s of friendly travellers with plenty of common areas to hang out in. Excellent location, can walk most places inside the city inside 10 mins.

Very cool atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, fantastic food, and extremely clean. Also a fantastic location, inside walking distance of most attractions in Reykjavik and right by the water with a fantastic view.

The bar downstairs had a great environment along with the rooms were really large and spread out which was great when they were full! There are lots of lockers inside the rooms. The design of the place is super enjoyable and hipster. The location is best walking distance to everything!

Beds were comfortable and they were a fantastic venue for Iceland Airwaves. Superb Location and very large building. Superb bathroom vs bed ratio and very good waterpressure within the showers.
