It was an ok guesthouse. Staff were nice but the guesthouse itself didn't feel very cosy. In a good location.

It is very clean, and the staff is very helpful and friendly. We've met there people from young to old. Nice rooms with comfortable beds; there is also a wash basin in the room. Breakfast can be recommended and is 800 ISK per person (currently something like 4, 50 ). We stayed there the second time and didn't even think of looking for an alternative :-)

The hostel was in a great location, clean and with very helpful staff. It was also one of the few hostels in Reykjavik form which many of the primary tour companies run pick-up services for which was extremely useful and tours can be booked from the hostel itself. Nonetheless it is not a hostel to stay at in case you are trying to meet and interact with other travelers.
