Everything! I could hardly wait to leave a review of this utterly charming hostel. First of all, it is an encounter just to be inside this outstanding period building. Even greater to see a group of individuals breathe life back into it after so a lot of years of abondonment. Its a very friendly, welcoming and beautiful place, a true discover in Budapest.

Extremely helpful and friendly staff. They give great info about what to see and do in the city. Extremely cool looking place, calm environment great location, on a nice square thats near to the river, the nightlife quarter and all of the primary sites. We loved our room- it had a private balcony that overlooked the courtyard bar. The bar was a bit noisy on Saturday night and in our room it was loud, but aside from that the hostel was perfect.

Minoo House is a true gem. Just goes to show how cool a &'hostel&' can be if creative individuals take the concept and give it a twist. Ticked all of the normal boxes, and then some. Thank you, it was a great experience.

Overall I was very impressed with everything. A lot a work of gone into making it the comfortable and atnospheric place that it is and it shows. Clean rooms, convenient, central location, warm and friendly employees and all of the extra effort in all of the details and design make it a great, if a little off-beat hostel.

Great location within the lovely part of the city, straightforward access to and from, every single key location in Budapest. The hostel itself has a special genius loci.

We came here on a recommendation from a fellow traveller and stayed within the gallery double private. We were impressed with the quality of service along with the overall value. The only thing that wasn&'t 10/10 was that to get to our room, you need to walk through a dorm room- but they did advertise that on the website, and it actually wasn&'t that much of a problem. Everything else was really perfect, we felt really at home and stayed on an extra night even though we were behind schedule already. Thanks so much so the experience, we will definitely be back soon.

Original, cool and friendly. Secure and clean, fantastic location. Very, very helpful staff without being imposing, they left you alone if you wanted but were pleased to have a chat if you wanted. Full of plants and always playing nice music. I loved my room. Special place, totally unique.
