The room was really spacious and cosy. Judit was also extremely warm and friendly and helpful. Very satisfying and cozy stay.

It was so clean and we were able to use the washing machine. There was also kitchen facilities and a heap of things to use in the bathroom and kitchen. Judit is also such a kind hearted woman and often has answers to our questions! It was also so nice and warm soon after being in the cold all day!

Gaia is not just a hostel, it&'s an experience. Judith has created a home-from house in an art-nouveax building inside the heart of Budapest. Her first priority is the welfare and pleasure of her guests. She is pleased to help with advice and info at any time, or just sit and chat about any subject, no matter whether it&'s the history, architecture, economics, art or politics of her country.

- Great location - and I cannot stress that hard enough, most things in walking distance (100m to metro station, TESCO supermarket, ATM), 15 mins walk to Danube etc. - Extremely warm and friendly and helpful employees (the lady helped us to arrange transport to the airport at 4. 30 inside the morning) - Full access to cooking area - Great value for money - Suggested for groups of 5-8 people
