Stayed with 14yr old daughter April 2014 in twin bedroom. The hostel&'s spotless. Shoes removed on entering. Clean slippers available. Very good location. Cool decor. Showers hot and powerful. Beds good. Minus: Kitchen accomodates three seated; access to cooker etc then tough. Pillows miniscule.

Very very good location to stay in Budapest. It is inside the center, so you can walk to all touristic points. If you prefer metro, there is a stop almost in front of the hostel. It is not a place for parties, but a location to rest soon after a busy day visiting the gorgeous Budapest.

The owner, Jack (apparently not his real name) was very helpful if a little eccentric. He didn&'t oversell on tours and so on and gave us great directions for local transport and places to go to etc. The spot is also very vibrantly decorated and far more than suits the needs of a backpacker/budget traveller
