Guangdong Guest Home has simply fantastic location, brief walking distance from the ferryboat to the Hong Kong Island. It is situated in a rather strange and extremely busy building but we never had any problem and there is certainly often sequrity. We took a deluxe room which was VERY clean, aditionally it was cleaned every day, even the sheets. It was extremely well decorated, what gave a larger impression to a pretty small room (a standard in HK). The property owner had thought it through extremely well and every detail, like light and mirros, made a nice, fresh and clean impression. The property owner was extremely nice and helpful, basically often around. He gave us a extremely good explanation of the buidlding and evacuation exits. We would extremely recommend this Guest Home for your stay in HK!

The proprietor Simon is exceptional, first time having fire safety escape routes being brought up and direction to go. Warm and friendly staff. Free telephone both in HK and out of HK

Simon is a excellent facilitator, who is really helpful and friendly. The safety system is excellent and makes you really feel secure despite the chaotic first few floors in Chunking Mansions.

We stayed inside the private diouble room, it was extremely clean, tidy, and properly accessorized! Simon is exceptional and often pleased to help. the location is great, close to all the action in kowloon, and to the MTR.

Simon is very friendly and hospitable, rooms are top class clean and secure. I absolutely adore the location and environment of this old building. As far as value for money, it possibly can&'t be beat in Hong Kong. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
