This is the nicest, safest & cleanest part of town where you will locate the most effective hotels, eating places, nightlife and shopping malls. We are also near to the airport (about a 7 minute drive). We have been described as being far more like "a friends (home)" than just another hostel.

In a superb portion of town. Warm and friendly and helpful staff. Close to restaurants. Offerred airport shuttle. Great free breakfast. 10 minute walk to Transmetro bus.

Definitely do the tour if they provide it to you, fantastic way to learn about the city and culture. The staff are always on hand to help out with suggestions or help to sort taxis. When I was there they had a very cost-effective BBQ for everyone who was staying which was fantastic.

It is immaculately clean. The lockers (for rent) have outlets inside so electronics can be charged worry-free. The staff is very nice. It&'s situated in zona viva close to the airport, nightlife, shopping (Oakland mall).

This is my 3rd time at Quetzalroo and I loved it as much this time round. The staff are so lovely, the&'ll come collect you from wherever you arrive and drop you to wherever you leave from. There&'s a pretty chilled out friendly setting and also the cutest little dog to play with. All round just pretty to be here!

A nice little place with most EXCELLENT staff! One of the owners sat me down and went through all of the things I might be able to see in Guatemala, and also the next day took me and another guy staying there on a tour of the city. At the end he told us we were welcome to give him a tip, but that he would be donating it to a charity for all of this month. Other than that the hostel is average, but the employees make it a great place to stay, especially if you&re arriving in Guatemala.

Bathrooms very clean, warm water in showers, great atmosphere, near to eating places and bars in Zona 10, no cost pick-up and drop-off to airport or bus station included.
