I was staying here for a quick overnight prior to having to head to the airport early inside the morning. The place was extremely secure and secure, and also the staff was extremely welcoming when I arrived. They have a beautiful rooftop deck with hammocks that was fantastic to watch the sunset from and relax. I didn&'t want to go out to get food by myself during the night (i&'m a solo female traveler) and also the woman (I&'m not sure if she was the owner or not. ) had offered to make me a meal for 70Q. a bit steep for Guatemalan prices. BUT, it was a massive plate of freshly cooked fish, salad and rice. and it was delicious and delivered to me without me having to go anywhere. Definitely worth the extra money. Also, my flight was at 7am so i asked them to call me a cab for the morning. Guatemalans have been notoriously unreliable with cabs during my trip, but the cab the hostel arranged for me arrived 15 mins prior to he was supposed to. OH! As well as the extremely best component - the shower was HOT!

The owner was so friendly. Upon arrival he provided me with a lot of location information and arranged for a taxi cab ride to the airport early morning. He made sure I had everything I needed, and even got up to create sure I got onto the taxi cab safely when it arrived at 4am the next morning. All other employees members were extremely friendly too. The hostel is basic but cleaned to profession, with all of the services. Very secure and a excellent location for a night to stay to catch a flight.

Really clean and cosy. Even the dorms have cable tv:s. The internet is free. Good, free breakfast.
