This hostel is lovely as is the location! The family who own it are so welcoming. They made me really feel like a guest in their home. They made me dinner which I was not expecting and they stayed up talking with me in the evening. I was travelling alone and wanted some advice and a little help with Spanish and they couldn't do enough for me. I definitely recommend this hostel!

Guatefriends is located in a beautiful place, we loved the place and landscape. Breakfast is nice with a awesome view to the forest. Rooms, beds and toilets are extremely clean and nite. I would definitely recommend this place in case you need to relax and appreciate your trip to Coban. We met nice individuals there, the owners are very nice and easy-going people. We wished we could have stayed a little bit longer!
